Our home is located in a historic area near downtown Dallas that’s full of character and culture. This community is meaningful to our family—our patriarch, Dr. William Knox Flowers, lived here more than 77 years ago, and Parkland’s Bluitt-Flowers Health Clinic carries on his legacy today. The neighborhood has an authentic Dallas feel: a mix of longtime residents, new and older homes and easy access to everything in the city. Guests often share that they are pleasantly surprised by how peaceful the street is and how comfortable they feel once they arrive. One room features a queen over queen bunk bed. - 2.5 Spa-Inspired Bathrooms: Refresh in style with a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower that includes both rainfall and handheld showerheads, plus a built-in seat to relax after a long day in downtown or at the Fair Park nearby. **OUTDOOR SPACES** - Private backyard retreat with a firepit and comfortable Adirondack chairs for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores under the Texas stars. - Large private balcony, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening wine. **HOME COMFORTS** - Portable washer/dryer for your convenience. - Family-friendly amenities including a crib, pack 'n play, children's books, and toys.

BACKUP GENERATOR: For your peace of mind, the home is equipped with an emergency backup generator. This system keeps essential services like lights, Wi-Fi, and climate control running during any unexpected power disruptions, ensuring your comfort is never compromised. SECURITY: For your safety and the security of the property, exterior security cameras and noise decibel monitors are installed. These devices are located on the exterior of the property only, do not record audio, and respect your privacy while helping us maintain a peaceful environment for our guests and neighbors.

Getting around Dallas from The Flowers Retreat is simple and stress-free. Our central location places you just minutes from Downtown Dallas, Fair Park, Deep Ellum, the Convention Center, and many of the city’s most popular districts. For guests who prefer a seamless travel experience, Spencer Adventours offers premier city and airport transportation for groups of 13 people or fewer. Enjoy comfortable, private rides for airport pickups, business travel, special outings, or touring Dallas with ease. If you’d like to explore beyond the property, Spencer Adventours also offers curated half-day tours (all under 5 hours)—perfect for travelers who want to see more without committing to a full-day excursion. Please reserve Spencer Adventours tours and transportation at least 48 hours in advance. If you prefer to drive independently, rental cars are also an option. The closest location is Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Dallas Uptown, just a short drive away on Oak Lawn Ave. Several national brands, including Avis and Budget, also have additional locations nearby. Many guests still use Uber and Lyft to reach local restaurants, museums, and nightlife without worrying about downtown parking. If you're driving, you’ll enjoy free on-site parking, and quick access to major highways including I-30, I-45, and I-35E, making it easy to reach any destination in the DFW area.
